Don’t have time to watch? No problem. We’ve got all the brand-new intel about Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint right here.
WELCOME TO TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON BREAKPOINT
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will bring you to a new and mysterious open world: the Auroa archipelago, home of the tech giant Skell Technology.
You will have access to an entirely new set of gameplay mechanics, which create a fresh and intense military survival experience, including fatigue and slopes, injuries, bivouacs, terrain impacts, prone camo, body carry, and much more.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will offer you the opportunity to create and customize your Ghost and keep their gear, skills, and weapons for your entire experience, throughout both PvE and PvP, which will be included at launch.
Let’s dive into more topics covered on the stream.
SURVIVAL BEHIND ENEMY LINES
How you approach your missions is always up to you. Whether you go in guns blazing or choose the silent path, you’ll have tools at your disposal to do it like a real Spec Ops.
We will have new features to enhance your stealth gameplay like the ability to carry bodies (both enemy and fellow Ghost), blend into multiple types of terrain using Prone Camo, and slip through certain fences unnoticed using the Breaching Kit.
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint you will be pitted against multiple enemies. Working with the Wolves are Sentinel, a Private Military Contractor (PMC) that have been hired to take care of security throughout the island.
During the stream we showed three Sentinel archetypes: the Rocket Gunner, the Breacher, and the Heavy.
We’ll be announcing more archetypes over the summer!
On top of the new enemy archetypes, enemy AI has evolved to provide a better stealth experience to all players.
On top of the new enemy archetypes, enemy AI has evolved to provide a better stealth experience to all players. Now, if the enemy becomes suspicious, depending on the risk of the situation, they will choose to either stalk the player’s last-known position, or send out a radio call to either alert the camp or send over reinforcements.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will have a whole new set of brutal CQC finishers to execute your enemies with ruthless efficiency.
A big part of the customized experience in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the classes available across PvE and PvP modes.
There will be four available at launch, two of which were revealed on the stream: the Panther and the Sharpshooter.
Bivouacs are a safe place to rest and prepare for battle. You’ll find them in various spots spread across Auroa. You can heal yourself, change your class, and do a lot more!
