Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is back in the spotlight at E3 in a very big way, with a release date and three new videos that show the Ghosts in action against their new enemy, the Santa Blanca Cartel. Consisting of two trailers and a four-player walkthrough of an extraction mission, the videos offer the deepest look yet at one of the biggest, most detailed, and most explosive open worlds ever created for a Ubisoft game.
The first trailer focuses on the Cartel, giving us a look at their operations, their leader, and the destruction they've visited on Bolivia and its people. This is balanced out toward the end by the destruction the Ghosts visit on the Cartel, as exemplified by an intense air-to-ground chase:
The next trailer mixes action-packed gameplay and sweeping vistas of Bolivia with "Giant" by Banks and Steelz, offering up a dynamic view of the weapons, vehicles, and tactics the Ghosts will use to wage war against the Cartel:
Finally, we're unleashing the Ghost Recon Wildlands walkthrough that was shown during Ubisoft's E3 press conference, which features a team of four Ghosts extracting El Pozolero ("The Stewmaker"), a man who's made hundreds of bodies disappear for the Cartel. Whether you're seeing it for the first time or taking a second look, now's your chance to comb through the footage for new insights:
Ghost Recon Wildlands will launch on March 7, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
