The Open Beta is free and open to everyone (in supported countries). You don't need a code to enter, simply go to your platform shop, download and play:

PCPS4 XBOX ONE

UPLAY PC: Launch Uplay PC, Ghost Recon Wildlands Beta will be in your Free Games list.

STEAM: From the launcher: Launch Steam, look for Ghost Recon Wildlands store page in the Store section to find the Open Beta, Click on "Play now" button to download the Open Beta in your library.

XBOX ONE: From your Xbox One, Go to Games and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Beta.

PS4: From your Playstation 4, Go to the Playstation Store and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Beta.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War Open Beta will begin on Thursday, September 21st to September 25th at 10am UTC and end on Monday, September 25th at 10am UTC.

Preload will be available starting Tuesday, September 19th at Midnight local time for PS4 and Xbox One, 4pm UTC on Steam and 7am UTC on Uplay PC.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta will be available on Xbox One, PS4, PS4 PRO and PC.

Please note that some local specificities may apply:
- Mainland China: Open Beta access will be restricted to the PC version of the game.
- Japan: Both PS4 and PC version will be supported for the Open Beta.

The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta is accessible to all players on Xbox-One, PS4 and PC (in eligible countries). Please note that a Ubisoft account is required to be able to play the game.

You don’t need any keys to join the Open Beta, simply go to your platform store, download and play! You will also find links to download the beta on the official portal.

Xbox One:

  • Reach the Games menu and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta.
  • Please note that you need an XBL account to play the beta

PS4:

  • Go to the Playstation Store and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta
  • Please note that you need a PS+ account to play the beta

Uplay PC

  • Launch Uplay PC launcher, Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta will be available in your Free Games list.

Steam

  • Launch Steam, search for the Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta product page and click on “Play now” button to download the Open Beta in your library.

- North America and LATAM countries

- Rest of the world: All countries except North Korea.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War Open Beta will feature all languages supported by the final game.

The download file is approximately of 30 GB for consoles, and 40 GB for PC. Make sure you have enough space on your hard drive, and give yourself some time for the download by preloading the build starting September 19th.

Yes, a Ubisoft account is mandatory to register to the Ghost War Open Beta.

This Ghost War Open Beta only features a chunk of this new mode.

Please note that some elements of the game might not be available during this period, and that this is a work in progress version of Ghost War.

Your characters and progression from the Ghost War Open Beta won’t be preserved for the final game.

In order to invite friends to your game session, you will need to add them to your account first.

Uplay PC

  • Login into Uplay with your Ubisoft Account or activate the overlay directly from the game by using the Shift+F2 shortcut.
  • Select the friends menu and click on “Add friends”
  • Enter your friend’s Ubisoft Account and press Enter to initiate the research, send an invite to your desired friend.

Xbox One & PS4

  • Select the “Friends” function from your console home-screen
  • Search for a Gamertag or Online ID to send an invite to your desired friend.

Your friends list will be automatically replicated in the Ghost Recon Wildlands lobby

Yes. As Ghost War is an online 4 vs 4 PvP mode, you will need an internet connection to play against other players.

As for the final game mode, the Ghost War Open Beta will require XBL Gold or PSN+ subscription.

To be able to play the Ghost War Open Beta in the best conditions, we recommend you to check the following requirements.

Recommended system setup has been tested on 1920*1080 resolution and High preset. We only recommend it to players using very high-end setup to go beyond those values.
